Meet The Team: Usmaan Al-Shehab

Usmaan Al-Shehab is a medical student currently pursuing his education at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. He successfully completed his undergraduate studies at the New Jersey Institute of Technology Albert Dorman Honors College, graduating in May 2022 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering. With a strong foundation in engineering, Usmaan possesses a unique set of skills in statistics, data analytics, and computational modeling. These skills have proven invaluable in driving forward various research projects, where he consistently contributes his expertise. Notably, Usmaan has been actively involved in pooled analyses and database research. These experiences have further honed his abilities to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. He is passionate about leveraging his diverse skill set to make significant contributions to the field of medicine and research. Usmaan's professional interests encompass Anesthesiology, pure Mathematics, data science, and machine learning. Outside of his academic and professional endeavors, Usmaan finds solace in his hobbies. He enjoys engaging in weightlifting sessions to maintain a healthy lifestyle and is also an avid swimmer.
