Futures Forward Research strives to achieve success for Students in the Medical Field and those trying to get into Research. Here are the Testimonials of Current Members and Members in the Medical Field:
“Becoming part of FFRI during my medical school journey has been transformative in more ways than I could have imagined. Their mentorship didn't just teach me the technical aspects of crafting research questions or conducting systematic reviews; it delved into the very essence of what it means to collaborate and respect others in the scientific community. Working closely with peers and mentors at FFRI, I learned firsthand the importance of diverse perspectives and the incredible synergy that emerges when individuals come together with a shared goal.Through their guidance, I not only learned how to contribute effectively to research papers but also gained confidence in presenting our findings at conferences and even securing grants. However, beyond the tangible achievements, what truly resonated with me was the deeper understanding of research ethics and the excitement of posing questions that truly matter. FFRI has not only equipped me with valuable skills but has also ignited a passion for research that I never knew I had. Our collaborations have led to publications in high-impact journals, marking significant milestones in my journey as a researcher. Looking ahead, I envision myself continuing to work closely with FFRI, sharing the wealth of knowledge and skills I've acquired with the next generation of learners. Being able to give back and mentor aspiring researchers, just as I was mentored, would be a fulfilling way to pay it forward and contribute to the vibrant scientific community that has shaped me.”

FFRI has definitely been a game changer for me. Many of us are eager to get involved in research, but it’s often challenging to find someone with the time and dedication to guide us through the process. FFRI is run by incredibly devoted people who will help you develop your research skills in any way they can. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in learning more about research.
- Carlos Valladares, MD Chief Resident, RWJ-CMC Internal Medicine Residency
Futures Forward Research Institute has been outstanding in helping me learn how to create, write, and execute research projects. Because of them, I published 3 papers, with 2 awaiting publication and several submitted for publication. I have also been in several poster presentations and even got 2nd place at a national conference! Everyone is incredibly nice and is more than willing to answer questions. All of this was incredibly helpful during my third and fourth years and while applying for residency. Thank you FFRI!
